Adding a Communication Manager profile for each user

Add a Communication Manager profile (called an Avaya CM Endpoint Profile) in Avaya Aura System Manager for each phone user.


  1. Select the check box for CM Endpoint Profile.

  2. Select the System and Profile Type from the drop-down lists.
  3. Enter the Extension number.
  4. Enter the Set Type as 9608SIP or another appropriate number as directed by your local system administrator.
  5. Enter the Security Code of your choice.
  6. Enter the Voice Mail Number and additional numbers, if available.
  7. Click Commit at the top-right corner of the screen to save the additional information that you added.
